The Inspiration Behind The ManFast Plan
ManFast was birthed as an extention of my writing. My first novel, Trinity's Hope was written for my daughter and other girls like her, to encourage them to save themselves for marriage instead of getting entangled in the pitfalls of sexual sin. In the novel a young Christian couple meet on a college campus and find love. Although they struggle with the temptation to become intimate, they stand strong and keep their vows to wait until they get married to have sex.
As women read the book, the messages of purity, faith and finding love the way God intended struck a chord with them ~ especially those who were single and involved in sexual relationships. One by one, they reached out to me, explaining how much the book touched their lives and brought conviction upon their hearts. Many who were single parents, confessed that if they had waited, like the characters in the book, they wouldn’t be raising children alone and struggling with the consequences of their decision to have sex before marriage.
After sharing their stories with me, several women asked me to pray for them and help them learn to live a life that was pleasing to God. Through seeking God for wisdom to help these precious sisters, the ManFast Plan was born.
I pray that ManFast will be a blessing to you as it has been to so many others.
